Ethan Graure, MA

I am a Master’s Level Clinician at Old Town Psychology, pursuing my doctorate in clinical psychology from The Catholic University of America.

My clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where we work together to identify and address goals, emphasize strengths, and attend to challenges. I take an integrative and evidence-based approach with my clients, while remaining flexible to best support each client’s unique needs and concerns. With a focus on evidence-based interventions, I often include techniques from cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal-relational, and acceptance- and mindfulness-based modalities. When conducting psychological assessments, I aim to provide a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for all clients.

In addition to providing psychotherapy and assessment, I teach undergraduate courses in psychology at Catholic University. I am also passionate about my research on suicide prevention. My current research aims to explore the intersection of emotion regulation and suicidal risk, including identifying specific emotion profiles of young adults experiencing crises.
