At times we can feel alone in our struggle. Groups can help normalize your experience by connecting you with other people who have a shared interest or challenge. Joining a group may feel intimidating, but it can be a valuable and trusted source of support.
Why Join a Group?
Groups provide benefits that go beyond individual therapy. Here are some reasons why you might join a group:
Connect with others in a safe space
Benefit from the expertise of the psychologist leading the group
Learn from other people’s shared experiences
See your problems from a new perspective
Obtain support in making changes
More affordable alternative to individual therapy

How Do Groups Work?
All of our groups are led by one of our psychologists. Group size ranges from 5-10 people. Everyone begins the group at the same time and goes through the group together.
Our groups usually last 60-90 minutes and meet for 6-8 weeks. You can join a group regardless of whether you’re in individual therapy. Maintaining confidentiality is a ground rule of all our groups.
