Dr. KathryN Ziemer, PhD

Kathryn Ziemer is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Clinical Director at Old Town Psychology.

She received her PhD from the University of Maryland and has logged thousands of hours providing therapy to clients at Old Town Psychology, the DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the University of Maryland Counseling Center. She has also conducted research at the National Institutes of Mental Health and the Social and Decision Analytics Lab at Virginia Tech.


Dr. Sheeva Mostoufi, PhD

Sheeva Mostoufi is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Training Coordinator at Old Town Psychology. She specializes in treating a range of mental and behavioral health concerns.

She received her PhD from the San Diego State University/University of California, San Diego Joint Doctoral Program and has experience providing therapy to clients ranging in age from children to older adults in a variety of settings, including private practice, as a clinician on grant funded research studies with the Veteran Affairs Health Care System and in interdisciplinary hospital and medical settings. She also has a background in clinical research with multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Jackie Pacella, PsyD

Jackie Pacella is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Assessment Supervisor at Old Town Psychology. She specializes in treating adults struggling with a wide range of mental health concerns. She also conducts psychological assessments, including ADHD.

She received her Psy.D. from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT, and has over 6 years’ experience providing psychological services to an adult population. She completed her Doctoral Internship at the Towson University Counseling Center and her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Georgetown University Counseling and Psychiatric Service (CAPS).

Dr. Aislinn Moss, PSYD


Aislinn Moss is a licensed clinical psychologist at Old Town Psychology. She provides couples counseling as well as individual therapy. She also has experience leading group therapy, conducting psychological assessments, and providing psychotherapy to adults and adolescents with a broad range of concerns and goals.

Aislinn received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the George Washington University and completed her doctoral internship at Saint Elizabeths Hospital. Her passion lies in providing supportive, culturally humble, and trauma-informed care to individuals navigating a broad range of experiences. She works from an interpersonal psychodynamic lens, but uses integrative techniques to provide care tailored to a client’s individual needs. She aims to work collaboratively with clients to set goals, solve problems, and help them better understand themselves and their social worlds by building insight into their needs and abilities.

 

Dr. Julianna Dubendorff, PSYD

Julianna Dubendorff is a licensed clinical psychologist at Old Town Psychology. She has experience treating adults across the lifespan in counseling centers, community mental health, and senior living facilities.

Julianna She received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the George Washington University and completed her doctoral internship at the University of Maine Counseling Center. She takes an integrative, psychodynamic/relational approach to therapy and collaborates with her clients to develop a supportive environment in which they can identify and achieve their goals. Her clinical work centers around developing the therapeutic relationship and working collaboratively to better understand the client’s interrelated history, relational patterns, and current difficulties.


Dr. Karen Genachowski, PhD

Karen Genachowski is a licensed clinical psychologist at Old Town Psychology. She utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach in therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. She also conducts psychological assessments.

Karen received her PhD from the Catholic University of America. She completed her doctoral internship in the Department of Pediatrics at University of Minnesota Medical School with emphasis in child and adolescent mental health and pediatric psychology.


Dr. Eliza Lanzillo, PHD

Eliza Lanzillo is a clinical psychologist at Old Town Psychology. She specializes in treating OCD, anxiety disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. She also conducts psychological assessments. She works with clients across the lifespan from children to older adults.

Eliza received her PhD from The Catholic University of America and completed her doctoral internship with the OCD Program at the Baylor College of Medicine. She provides evidence-based therapy, primarily applying Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).


Dr. Alya Gaspard, psyD

Alya Gaspard is a clinical psychologist at Old Town Psychology. She provides both couples counseling and individual therapy. She has experience providing therapy to adults across the lifespan in community health centers, counseling centers, and private practices. She has led group therapy and conducts psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults.

She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the George Washington University and completed her doctoral internship at American University’s Counseling Center. She aims to create a collaborative, non-judgmental and empathetic space for clients to feel safe in expressing themselves. Alya integrates psychodynamic, relational, and multicultural approaches to therapy, but draws from other evidence-based techniques to tailor her clients’ individualized needs.


Alice Cohen, MA

Alice Cohen is a Master’s level clinician at Old Town Psychology pursuing her PhD in clinical psychology at American University.

Alice has experience providing individual and group psychotherapy to children and adults in community clinic, counseling center, and school-based settings. She also conducts psychological testing with people of all ages. Alice’s research interests focus broadly on depression, sleep disturbances, and interpersonal relationships.


Ethan Graure, MA

Ethan Graure is a Master’s level clinician at Old Town Psychology pursuing his PhD in clinical psychology at The Catholic University of America.

Ethan has experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults within university counseling center, community-based clinics, private practice, and Veterans Affairs hospital settings. Ethan has also performed psychological and neuropsychological assessments with adolescents and adults. His research focuses on suicide prevention, and his current work includes exploring the relationship between emotion regulation and suicidal risk.


Jazmin Nieves, MA

Jazmin is a Master’s level clinician at Old Town Psychology pursuing her PhD in clinical psychology at American University.

Jazmin has experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults across various settings, including community clinics, counseling centers, and private practices. Additionally, she conducts psychological testing with both children and adults. Her research focuses on social anxiety and emotion, with a particular interest in understanding the influence of culture in these areas.


JP Ryan, MA

John Paul (JP) Ryan is a Master’s level clinician at Old Town Psychology pursuing his PhD in clinical psychology at The Catholic University of America.

JP has experience providing psychotherapy to adults within university counseling center, community-based clinic, and Veteran Affairs medical center settings. JP has also performed psychological assessments with adults across the lifespan. His research focuses on suicide prevention, and his current work includes exploring the role of clergy in suicide prevention.


Mary Tipton, MA

Mary Tipton is a Masters level clinician at Old Town Psychology pursuing her PhD in clinical psychology at The Catholic University of American.

Mary has provided evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults in counseling centers, outpatient mental health clinics, and inpatient psychiatric settings. Her research focuses on understanding patient-specific drivers of suicidality and how to effectively manage suicide risk.


Elizabeth Watts, MA

Elizabeth Watts is a clinician at Old Town Psychology pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the George Washington University.

She works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. She has provided group and individual therapy in community mental health and private practice settings. Elizabeth’s approach to therapy is integrative, leaning towards relational psychodynamic – meaning she sees herself and her client as equal, collaborating partners working towards deeper understanding together. Elizabeth also provides psychological assessments for both children and adults.


Casi Wogenrich, MS

Casi Wogenrich is a Masters level clinician pursuing her Doctorate in clinical psychology at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She is an active-duty officer in the United States Navy.

Casi has provided cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and exposure-based therapies. She has also administered psychological testing to adolescents and adults. She has experience providing individual and group therapy– in person and via telehealth– at in outpatient behavioral health settings. Casi has a passion for assisting families and individuals in navigating the diagnostic process and accessing appropriate care.
