Raquel Jones, MS
I am a master’s-level clinician at Old Town Psychology and a doctoral student in the Professional Psychology Program at George Washington University. I completed my Master of Professional Studies degree in Clinical Psychological Science at the University of Maryland.
I provide both individual therapy and couples counseling, and conduct psychological assessments. I have experience working with individuals with a diverse array of experience and concerns. Most recently, I worked at a community clinic providing long-term individual therapy to adults, whose clinical concerns include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. I also have clinical experience providing group and individual therapy to neurodivergent children and adults with primary diagnoses of autism and ADHD. In order to best meet client needs, I work through an integrative approach to flexibly pull from my training in psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy to tailor care to each unique person and problem. I aim to work collaboratively with clients through a supportive and empathic stance to help them to develop greater insight into their life and areas of concern and spur positive growth and change.
